Travel into and within Canada is subject to restrictions both at the federal level and the provincial level. As of July 1st, the province of Newfoundland and Labrador allows fully vaccinated travellers from within Canada to enter the province without restrictions. However, as of July 22, there are still severe travel restrictions for entry into Canada in place. Given the progress of vaccination around the world and the decreasing COVID case counts, we are hopeful that travel restrictions will be lifted to allow for onsite attendance in October in St. John's.
As of July 22 we are going ahead with plans for a hybrid attendance model. In case travel restrictions remain in place by late August, ER2021 will shift to an online only format and onsite registration fees will be refunded to the level of virtual fees.
